360 Brass Hex

C36000 or 360 Brass is commonly referred to as "Free Cutting" or "Free Machining" Brass. The addition of lead to this grade helps to form broken chips instead of continuous coils, which interfere with high speed machining. 360 Brass is one of the most popular copper alloys used because of its strength and resistance to corrosion with properties closely resembling that of steel, along with the ability to be polished to a high luster finish and easy machinability. Brass can be readily utilized in screw machines and can also be soldered or brazed.
